You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts. The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across several retail stores, maintaining, and repairing a range of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units. Additionally, you will undertake regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer. What You ll Be Doing As a Senior Installation Engineer , you ll take a leading role in our engineering team, providing hands-on installation, service, and maintenance of refrigeration, air conditioning, and associated equipment across a wide range of commercial and industrial sites. You ll also: Lead on-site installation projects and supervise engineering teams Support and mentor junior engineers and trainees Ensure work is completed to the highest standard on time, safely, and with pride Be a go-to technical resource across the business Liaise directly with clients and suppliers, representing the Pitkin & Ruddock name with professionalism and a customer-first approach Play a key part in shaping the future of our engineering team, contributing to training, process improvements, and team development Who You ll Work With You ll be a key player in our engineering team, collaborating with: Branch and Service Managers Technical Sales & Project Engineers Customers, suppliers, and subcontractors Junior engineers and trainees helping them grow and succeed What We re Looking For A high level of competency in refrigeration and air conditioning installation A qualified refrigeration and/or air conditioning engineer (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent) F-Gas Certification (essential) Strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset A natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail A natural leader that our engineers can learn from Excellent communication and customer service abilities Someone who takes pride in their work and genuinely enjoys supporting others A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality Solid understanding of health & safety in the HVAC industry Willingness to travel and work flexibly to meet customer needs Why Join Pitkin & Ruddock?
