Commercial Gas Engineer - Maintenance Location: Derby Salary: Circa £50,000 to £55,000 per annum (based on a 45-hour working week) On-Call: 1 in 5 weeks, with £150 weekly payment The Opportunity - Gas Engineer - Maintenance We are recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer - Maintenance to join a leading Facilities Management company who have secured a new contract within the hospitality sector. You'll be delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of sites, covering systems such as commercial and domestic gas boilers, heating systems, water heaters, and associated controls. The role also involves fault finding, repairs, and installation works - with the backing of a stable, long-term contract. Qualifications & Experience: ACS Domestic/Commercial Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, COCN1 or COCDN1) - essential Commercial gas modules such as CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1A (desirable - training provided if needed) Commercial Catering (COMCAT 1-5) - desirable (training provided) NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating - preferred Current Gas Safe Registration (company supported) Proven experience in gas maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and installation across domestic and/or commercial environments Full UK driving licence What's on Offer: Training and support to upskill into commercial gas qualifications if not already held Weekly £150 on-call payment (1 in 5 rota) Company vehicle with private use 31 days holiday (including statutory) Pension scheme Private healthcare Group life assurance We're looking for Gas Engineer's with: Experience in gas maintenance, servicing, and fault finding A proactive and customer-focused approach Flexibility to cover callouts and travel to sites This is your opportunity to step into a role with real security and career progression.
