Main duties of the job The Consultant will work closely with the MDTas the Responsible Clinician assuming overall responsibility for a patientscare under the Mental Health Act (or Mental Capacity Act), ensuring that thepatients care and treatment plan is appropriate, lawful, and focused on their needs. Psychiatric input will be delivered throughcomprehensive assessment, diagnosis, care planning and treatment formulation, utilisingevidence-based treatments.
