Deaf Access is a well-established team of highly skilled and experienced CSWs and Sign Language Interpreters who provide communication support to Deaf students within the College and local community. We also operate a communication support agency providing communication support to Deaf people in Derby and the surrounding areas. Successful applicants will need to work from a socially inclusive perspective and be able to provide inclusive person-centred communication support to students on study programmes across all sites, thus improving retention and achievement. If you have not already achieved BSL Level 3 you must be willing and able to do so. Applicants with BSL Level 2 or those seeking part-time hours are welcome to apply.
