This is to ensure all our structures remain fit for purpose and open to all highway users. Attend and play an active role within the Bridge Management Team. Oversee and sign off feasibility studies, outline and detailed designs, assessments, and contract documents for new structural work and maintenance projects. Oversee the design of strengthening and remedial measures as necessary to ensure continued safe functioning of highway structures. Establish and agree solutions with interested parties which satisfy both engineering and environmental considerations.
