Our newly created in-house Engineering function will ensure we continue to build out a fit-for-purpose, scalable, and secure technology platform, and this role sits as an integral part of the Technical Leadership Team. We use "smart-working", and the person in this role will be based at our London office. There is a small requirement to travel to the Norwich office very rarely (every few months). What do you need? Solid experience as a full-stack lead Engineer , ideally experienced in building consumer facing products based on microservice architecture principles. Strong working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD best practices , with experience in long-term platform level technology strategy and planning. Exemplary technical leadership, with experience translating product strategy into fit-for-purpose solution designs and engineering approaches. Confident mentor and confident in leading cross-functional change initiatives, and a natural mentor to junior engineers. Technologically adept and demonstrates outstanding ability to provide both hands-on technical execution and guidance to others, and confident leading strategic direction decisions at an architectural level. Versatile with multiple delivery methodologies, with strong cross-functional technical stakeholder management capabilities; able to balance desired pace of change with technical risk considerations.
