About the Role We are seeking an AWS Developer to join the Contact Centre Platform (CCP) team. This is a hands-on development role focused on building and maintaining AWS-based solutions that support the platform's innovations, including AI models and automation components. While familiarity with DevOps practices is important, this is primarily a coding and solution development role , not a pure infrastructure or tooling position. Please note that you will require SC Clearance for this role and so to be eligible, you must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years continuously. The role is based in London or Leeds. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions and related services using Node.js . Support deployment and maintenance of services within the Amazon Connect ecosystem. Contribute to route-to-live processes for new features and innovations hosted on AWS. Implement secure, efficient solutions aligned with the development standards for handling sensitive data. Collaborate with case management and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration and release processes. Troubleshoot and optimise AWS-hosted services for performance and reliability. Apply DevOps principles where relevant (e.g., run CI/CD pipelines), but with a strong focus on application development . Must-Have Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda essential). Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Node.js for backend development or other programming languages but able to provide and explain real-world examples through experience. Familiarity with Amazon Connect and/or AI model deployment on AWS. Understanding of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for deployment automation. Exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud Voice integration. Why Join Us?
