To respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies. Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements. Maintain accurate records of work performed including detailed job reports, service dates, parts used and completed tasks. Review information packages around carrying out designs from concept through to delivery. Take projects from concept to stage 5 Collaborating with tier 2 contractors to gain further understanding of project requirements Utilising AutoCAD and Revit design software Work on a range of projects from offices, residential and student accommodation Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal departments to communicate design information The ideal applicant will be a Engineer Mechanical Services with: Must have 5-10 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer in building services Must have experience working with AutoCAD 2D Ideally will have Revit experience Confident in checking technical drawings. THE COMPANY We are an established Commercial Building Maintenance company with strong mechanical and electrical background, specialising in heating and air conditioning but also offering general maintenance services. They are seeking an additional Commercial Gas Engineer to come in and join the team. THE JOB - Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer Monday - Friday / 8am - 4pm. You will be working on a mobile basis, covering mainly 30 miles of Hertfordshire. Working in an array of buildings: Care Homes / Cinemas / Hotels / Offices / Warehouses / Factories / Leisure Centres. Duties: Carrying out service, maintenance breakdowns to an array of boilers / air heaters / burners (not heavy commercial) / cabinet heaters / radiant tubes. Covering annual servicing and breakdowns Must not be afraid of heights - willing to work off ladders / towers / scissor lift / cherry picker if required. SALARY & PACKAGE Salary Range £45k to £50k Working 08.00 to 16.00 plus travel time 1 hour paid travel every for sites within 30 miles of OFFICE. Additional travel paid for sites further away.
