The Redline Group is working in partnership with our Leicestershire based client to assist in the search for a Contract Software Test Engineer on a 6-month contract. For this contract you will be needed on site in Leicestershire 2-3 days a week. This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC. Our client designs and develops innovative, tailored software applications and technology for a range of industries across the UK. This role will support a high-profile project delivering real-time content to public information systems nationwide. As a Contract Software Test Engineer, you will take full ownership of establishing the testing function from the ground up, as there is currently no formal test plan or automation framework in place. This includes writing automated test scripts and executing a range of testing activities such as integration, regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing.
