Support verification, integration, qualification and production activities. Work closely with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges. Mentor and support less experienced engineers, contributing to the development of technical capability within the team. Represent the organisation at technical reviews, customer meetings and programme discussions. Investigate and resolve design issues identified during development, manufacture and field operation. Lead root-cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventative actions. Essential Skills & Experience HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. Significant experience designing electronic systems within a high-reliability, safety-critical or regulated engineering environment. Strong understanding of power conversion topologies. Experience with magnetic component design and selection. Strong knowledge of analogue and digital control systems. Understanding of thermal design and thermal management principles. Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI mitigation techniques. Proven analogue electronics design and circuit simulation experience. Experience leading technical activities and influencing engineering design decisions. Experience with communication protocols such as RS485, SPI, I C, CAN or similar. Strong understanding of component selection, derating, reliability and component lifecycle considerations. Experience producing and reviewing schematics and technical documentation.
