As a result, many go on to volunteer, mentor, join our staff team or even set up their own community initiatives. Former participants make up the majority of our workforce. Routes to Roots is looking for an inspiring, compassionate and proactive Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operation and future development of the Genesis Centre in Poole. This is not a role where you will spend every day behind a desk. You will be at the centre of a busy, welcoming homelessness service: leading people, building partnerships, solving problems, developing opportunities and making sure that people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity receive the very best possible support. Some days will require strategic thinking. Others will require you to roll up your sleeves and help make things happen. We are looking for someone who can do both! About the role As Centre Manager, you will take the lead for the day-to-day running and continued development of the Genesis Centre, working closely with our Trustees, staff, volunteers and local partners. You will have real scope to shape how the service develops and to strengthen the Genesis Centre's role within Poole's response to homelessness. You will be a visible and approachable presence within the Centre and the wider community, helping to raise the profile and reputation of Routes to Roots and strengthen our network of partners and supporters by: Leadership & strategy - working with the Trustees to deliver the charity's strategic and operational plans, monitor outcomes and identify opportunities to improve and develop services. People & volunteers - leading and supporting employees and volunteers, including recruitment, induction, development, performance and wellbeing. Centre operations - overseeing the day-to-day running of the Centre, budgets, resources, premises, donations, food supplies, health and safety, safeguarding and compliance. Partnerships & community engagement - building strong relationships with BCP Council, homelessness services, health services, community organisations and other local partners, while representing Routes to Roots at networking events and community activities. Fundraising & sustainability - supporting the Trustees with fundraising, identifying grant opportunities and contributing to the financial sustainability and future development of the charity. Governance & reporting - providing Trustees with clear information on performance, finances, risks, incidents and strategic progress, and ensuring policies and procedures are effective and up to date. About you We are looking for someone with experience of managing people and/or volunteers and overseeing a service, programme or project, including budgets and resources. You will ideally already have experience of working with people experiencing homelessness or vulnerability and be just as confident building effective relationships with someone walking through the doors of the Genesis Centre as with a volunteer, Trustee, commissioner or partner agency. You will bring: Strong leadership, people-management and communication skills; Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities in a challenging environment; Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to turn strategy into practical action; New ideas, activities and partnerships that can improve outcomes for the people using the service; High standards around safeguarding, health and safety, incidents, complaints, records and the safe operation of the building; The ability to use data, feedback and what we learn from clients to understand what is working and where we can do better. An understanding of the importance of good governance, accurate records, performance information and safe working - but you will never lose sight of the people behind the processes; A compassionate, respectful and non-judgemental approach. Resilience, emotional maturity and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach. Experience of grant applications, fundraising or working within the voluntary, housing, health or social care sectors would be advantageous. Most importantly, you will share our belief that people experiencing homelessness deserve dignity, respect, opportunity and the right support to move forward. Why join Routes to Roots? Routes to Roots is a Poole-based homelessness charity with a Christian ethos and more than 20 years' experience of supporting people who are rough sleeping, vulnerably housed or rebuilding their lives following homelessness. Our Genesis Centre is much more than a traditional day centre. It is a place where people can eat, shower, wash clothes, receive practical help and simply feel welcome. It is also a place where people can connect with housing, health, substance use and other specialist services, take part in activities and begin to move towards something different. At its best, Genesis is a place of opportunity, connection and change. This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in a charity that is committed to supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerability in Poole. You will have the opportunity to shape the future development of the Genesis Centre, work alongside dedicated Trustees, staff and volunteers, develop meaningful partnerships across the community and see the direct impact of your work. Interested? If you are an experienced manager who is passionate about making a difference and would like to play a key role in the future of Routes to Roots and the Genesis Centre, we would love to hear from you. Routes to Roots is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from people from all backgrounds.

You put the team above ego, come prepared, be at your best when your best is needed, enjoy a difficult challenge, step up when it matters, protect the standard and care about the collective result. Fun Notice the good. Create the joy. You notice the good, practice gratitude, celebrate wins, bring warmth, humour and energy to help make work somewhere people actually enjoy being. Courage Do hard things You speak up early, face hard things, make decisions, take bold action and hold the standard with care. Results matter, and how you achieve them matters too. Resourcefulness Find the constraint. Fix the cause. You take initiative, diagnose the real block, solve the real problem and leave things better and easier to repeat than you found them. If this sounds like the role for you - Apply now and we would love to speak to you.

We champion diversity of thought and ideas, we behave like leaders regardless of title, we are committed to achieving ambitious goals, and we love celebrating our wins - big and small. Supported by operating principles of being strategy led, values based and disciplined in execution, you'll be inspired, connected, developed and rewarded here. Everything that makes you unique is welcome; join us and let's build what's next - together! Anaplan's Product Security team is responsible for securing a platform that large enterprises rely on for real business decisions-across finance, supply chain, workforce, and sales planning. As Senior Manager, you will own the day to day leadership of a team that spans application security, infrastructure and cloud security, offensive security, and vulnerability management. You report to the Director of Product Security and are accountable for turning strategy into consistent, measurable security outcomes across the product portfolio. Role Summary This is a people leadership role owning Anaplan's Product Security team across AppSec, InfraSec, OffSec, and vulnerability management. The Senior Manager reports to the Director of Product Security and is responsible for team output, prioritisation, operating rhythm, and engineering partnerships. The role requires genuine technical depth-this is not a project management seat-combined with the management maturity to build and scale a high performing team. Your Impact Lead and develop the Product Security team: hire, coach, and retain engineers across AppSec, InfraSec, OffSec, and vulnerability management. Set clear expectations and build a team that ships security improvements, not just findings. Own the operating rhythm: run sprint planning, triage, and retrospectives. Calibrate work across BAU vulnerability management, strategic projects, and longer term capability building. Drive secure SDLC integration: ensure threat modelling, design reviews, and security tooling are embedded into how engineering teams build-not bolted on after the fact. Prioritise based on real risk: translate scanner output, pen test findings, and threat intelligence into prioritised remediation plans that engineering teams actually execute. Scale security through automation and self service: invest in tooling, guardrails, and developer facing documentation that reduce friction and increase coverage without linear headcount growth. Partner with engineering and platform leadership: represent Product Security in cross functional planning, influence roadmaps, and ensure security trade offs are understood at the right level. Manage security incidents: coordinate response for product security incidents, run post mortems, and ensure findings translate into durable fixes. Report on programme health: provide clear, honest reporting to the Director and broader leadership on risk posture, coverage gaps, and team capacity. Your Qualifications Demonstrated experience leading a product or application security team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management. Broad technical grounding across at least two of: application security, cloud/infrastructure security, offensive security, and vulnerability management. Hands on history in secure SDLC practices-threat modelling, design reviews, security tooling in CI/CD-enough to credibly challenge your team's work. Ability to prioritise ruthlessly: separate high impact risk reduction from low value compliance theatre. Experience building cross functional partnerships with engineering, product, and platform teams-influencing without owning the delivery backlog. Clear, direct communication-able to present risk, trade offs, and programme status to senior leadership without hiding behind jargon. Comfort operating in a product led, engineering heavy organisation where security earns its seat through credibility, not authority. Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) We believe attracting and retaining the best talent and fostering an inclusive culture strengthens our business. DEIB improves our workforce, enhances trust with our partners and customers, and drives business success. Build your career in a place where diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging aren't just words on paper - this is what drives our innovation, it's how we connect, and it contributes to what makes us a market leader. We believe in a hiring and working environment where all people are respected and valued, regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes people unique. We hire you for who you are, and we want you to bring your authentic self to work every day! We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, perform essential job functions, and receive equitable benefits and all privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
