Position: Field Service Technician

Location: Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid/Remote)

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 (Depending on experience) + up to 6% annual bonus + Company Car

Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician who will travel to client sites and be responsible for installing and commissioning their state-of-the-art packing equipment. If you have any Mechanical, Electrical or Automation experience in assembling large packing equipment, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

• Set up and assemble machines in accordance with cost and deadline forecasts
• Organise and conduct technical meetings to provide progress updates
• Ensure that the machines are performing well after the work has been completed by taking production measures
• Contribute to the implementation of the corrective action plan
• Provide initial support to the customer on site or by telephone
• Direct the customer towards services, parts and/or training

Qualifications/Experience:

• Technical background in Mechanical, Automation or Electrical environment
• Understanding of PLCs is a must
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar environment
• Able to travel 180 - 200 days a year
