Looking to recruit a compassionate and dedicated 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support a pre-verbal reception age child with their communication, social interaction and emotional needs. Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm (term time only) . 1-1 Teaching Assistant Role: To provide personalised support for the pre-verbal student, helping them engage with the curriculum and classroom routines. Able to use visual aids, communication boards and other strategies ie PECS / Makaton to promote understanding and interaction. Support the child in developing social, emotional, and communication skills. Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to implement individual learning plans.
