Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting resources and strategies to meet individual student needs Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help students with SEN achieve their learning goals Monitor and evaluate student progress, contributing to the development of individual education plans Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN support Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and support Strong understanding of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and social, emotional, and mental health needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and families Proven experience in a similar role, working with children and young people with diverse learning needs Relevant qualifications, such as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant certificate Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently Excellent organisational and time-management skills Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected educational institution and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.
