We are looking for Painters/Decorators to join us in the Scotland Region on afull-time contract.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Refurbishment/repairs to the décor in guest bedrooms public areas, back of house and externals.
- Ensuring that all parts of the hotels are maintained to a high standard and ensuring that all planned, preventative maintenance actions are carried out.
- You will be working in guest areas so you will also play a part in ensuring that all guests have a warm welcome and a positive experience that exceeds their expectations.
- Providing emergency assistance to other team members when required.
- Undertaking Painting, Decorating, repairs and reactive tasks as required by management schedules or circumstances in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Ensuring the Painting\Decorating areas are always clean and tidy. To ensure the availability of Materials & Supplies for an effective Painting\Decorating service to be always maintained.
- Ensuring ALL equipment and tools are used following the correct method to comply with Health and Safety requirements.
- Ensuring that all Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to during installation and/or maintenance.
- Understand and adhere to department risk assessments and to identify any new risks.
- Driving license will be required as the role is covering various hotels across the group.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in the maintenance industry. You will complete tasks in a timely manner and work to your own initiative. If you feel you match the criteria, we look forward to hearing from you.
