The role
- This is a unique and career defining opportunity to join one of the fastest growing mission driven brands in UK food & beverage
- The Out of Home channel is a key growth driver for the business over the next 5 years and we are looking for an experienced OOH leader to spearhead this
- The role offers much more scope than just the UK OOH channel. You will be responsible for launching the business in Ireland, working closely with the Sales Director to build a best-in-class go to market strategy and then owning its delivery and ongoing management. Alongside this, you will be responsible for the management and development of the UK & Ireland field sales team
- Initially you will be responsible for a team of four, with two direct reports but you will need to grow your team quickly to deliver the businesses growth ambitions. You will be responsible for the talent mapping and recruitment of your team, with support available from the Head of People and Talent Manager as needed
What we're looking for
You will be a proven leader and Out of Home (OOH) channel expert, having planned and executed national sales strategies, built and shaped teams, achieved success through strong commercial and financial capabilities, and demonstrated new business strengths and resilience through resourcefully unlocking and securing distribution.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Setting and delivering a market leading OOH channel strategy to maximise our presence and listings
- Deliver the OOH sales and profit targets with full P&L ownership and budget management
- Planning, negotiating and executing market leading JBP's with key customers
- Leading Ireland launch and responsible for delivering the go to market plan
- Lead and manage the OOH team, identifying when and where new hires are needed, be active in their recruitment, goal setting and career development
- Managing the Field Team to ensure effective trial, visibility & availability is always on point
- Build and maintain key external relationships, driving new revenue opportunities
- Analysing and presenting internal and third-party category and shopper data to strengthen sales efforts
- Providing accurate commercial and volume forecasts to the business, ensuring changes are communicated clearly to the Operations team
- Reporting key insights and performance updates to the Sales Director against monthly & quarterly targets

- Highly commercial, with great analytical and negotiation skills
- Strong & confident communicator with exceptional relationship building skills
- Ability to take a 'first principles' approach to problem solving and execution
- Be a self-starter, possess a growth mindset and enjoy being challenged on a daily basis
