Trainee Welder opportunities in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry. ASL Technical are working as the preferred recruitment supplier to Bucher Municipal based in Dorking, Surrey. Due to an increase in demand, we are looking to hire 8 Trainee Welders to join a 6 month training programme to expand their production team. As one of the successful candidates, you will be trained in MIG Welding for their largest weld area, manufacturing the main body of the road sweepers. About you To be successful within the role of Trainee Welder, you will have a keen interest in production or manufacturing, excellent hand to eye coordination and be a team player, with good communication skills which are so important in the learning environment and within the workshop facility. Specific Requirements for the role: Understanding of maths and the ability to read, write and communicate in English. Good problem solving skills and great hand eye coordination with a steady hand. Physically able to carry out manual work. Ability to work shift patterns. Can get to work in Dorking without using public transport.
