Fixed Term Contract to 31 July 2022. Where you'll work: This role is based at the College's Tonbridge campus. Your hours: 29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum. Your pay: Spine Points 32E (£26,000 full time equivalent) to 37 (£35,104 full time equivalent), rising to a ceiling of Spine Point 39 (£37,251 full time equivalent) with a full teaching qualification. Working within North Kent College's A-Level curriculum area, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitability qualified, experienced and passionate individual to join the team as a Lecturer in A Level English - Language and Literature. You'll be required to prepare, teach and assess at a variety of qualification levels, providing support and guidance to your learners as they progress through their studies. You'll have specialist knowledge of the curriculum area, which may be enhanced by any relevant industry / professional experience, as well as a formal qualification that underpins this knowledge. We need you to be a team player and an excellent communicator, able to maintain a proactive approach and an eye for detail whilst working to challenging deadlines. Teaching experience, particularly within Further Education, would be advantageous but isn't essential. Likewise, although a full teaching qualification (at Level 5 or above) isn't required at this stage, you would need to secure this within 3 years of appointment.
