English Teacher Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time English Teacher to work at a School in the East Riding of Yorkshire, starting February 9th, and lasting until the end of the academic year. This is a 4 day per week booking, with a Tuesday being the day off. The ability to move this to full time might be possible, with general cover on the Tuesday being an option for a capable practitioner/a candidate willing to do general cover. This is a temporary position. Payment for this role will be in line with the main teaching pay scale M1 to UPS3, scaling down to a daily rate of 168.80 to 261.77 per day. This role will involve teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. This school does have a large bank of resources and consistently share good practice, so the planning requirements for this position are minimal. Ideally they are looking for a staff member to take on the full roles and responsibilities of a teacher. You will mainly be teaching Key Stage 3, with some lessons of Year 10 on the timetable. Located in North Yorkshire, close to Goole and Selby this school is most easily accessed via car. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area. With this being a longer term booking, the school would be happy for applications from ECTs, and would be willing to look at putting the candidate through one term of their ECT. The school is part of a local academy trust, and work within this trust can lead to further opportunities within different schools within the trust.
