The Head Teacher is looking to take on a passionate Learning Support Assistant on a Long-Term basis until the end of the academic year. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be overlooking the academic progress and personal development of their learners through one to one and group support. The role will be paramount in helping learners achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning. The successful Learning Support Assistant will have: - Level 2 minimum in English and Maths - Recent and demonstrable experience of supporting with people with special education needs. - Experience working with ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH - A calm, patient, and caring personality - Ability to operate with empathy and the ability to motivate other. - Ability to work as a member of a team - Computer literate - Able to work independently using own initiative - Able to note take for students - A clear understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
