The successful applicant will be required to teach and examine undergraduates, and to supervise and examine postgraduate work for the MPhil and PhD. It is anticipated that there will be opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the University, including at Kettle's Yard and the Fitzwilliam Museum, and to contribute to the African Collections Futures initiative ( ). Candidates will hold undergraduate and doctoral degrees in history of art, African/Caribbean studies, or a related discipline, with a specialism in the field advertised. FHEA accreditation and experience of curriculum development is desirable.
