Stock Coordinator & Stock Controller

Kasmir Associates is hiring for a rapidly expanding telecoms business in Stamford Hill. This telecoms company operates a business division and offers tailored communication solutions for both businesses and consumers.

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a meticulous and organized Stock Coordinator to join our team and oversee inventory operations efficiently. The Stock & Operational Coordinator will play a vital role in maintaining accurate stock levels, optimizing inventory procedures, and ensuring a seamless flow of products within our organization.
• Inventory Management: Maintain precise records of incoming and outgoing products, aligning inventory levels with sales and demand.
• Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment orders to prevent stock shortages while minimizing excess inventory.
• Order Fulfilment: Collaborate with relevant departments to promptly and accurately fulfil customer orders.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to uphold established standards.
• Data Analysis: Analyse inventory data to detect trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving inventory turnover and reducing carrying costs.
• Reporting: Generate regular and ad hoc reports on stock levels, inventory turnover, and other pertinent metrics for management review.
• Supplier Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with suppliers to track order status, lead times, and resolve any issues.
• Returns and Defects: Manage returns, defective products, and warranty claims with proper documentation and resolution.
• Space Utilization: Optimize warehouse space through efficient storage and layout strategies.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal inventory management policies.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization within the inventory management workflow and propose and implement solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ideally a minimum of 2 years experience in inventory management, stock control, or related roles. Familiarity with inventory management software and systems is highly advantageous.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret inventory data, recognize trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Able to commute to Stamford Hill on a daily basis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Proficient at identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing process improvements.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using MS Excel, inventory management software, and relevant tools.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for accuracy in record-keeping and stock management.
