You will join the Global Digital Assets AFC team which advises and partners with the Corporate and Investment Banks, International Private Bank and Private Bank businesses on best practices and standards for risk-mitigation reflecting the applicable provisions of the German Anti-Money Laundering Act, the German Banking Act and applicable local laws in each jurisdiction in which the business line operates.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AFC Global Risk Appetite Statement for digital assets
  • Lead front-to-back review of AFC digital assets controls against emerging risks, existing policies, regulatory adherence and thematic reviews
  • Contribute to development of Digital Asset Minimum Control Standards
  • Conduct new digital asset product and service risk assessments, assessing Inherent Risk, Control Effectiveness and Residual Risk
  • Create metrics that monitor the effectiveness of the AFC digital asset appetite statement and AFC digital asset controls (such as Know Your Transaction solutions)
  • Supplement Deutsche Bank's applicable governance policies, minimum standards and governance frameworks to ensure AFC's continued compliance with global digital asset regulation

Your skills and experience

  • AFC experience within financial services or in related control functions, with a proven track record of delivery
  • Previous experience within financial services of Risk Assessment analytics
  • Expert understanding of risks related to digital assets, crypto currencies, blockchain and existing global regulation
  • Knowledge of typical banking products and services, and their application to digital assets
  • Able to demonstrate integrity in all dealings with colleagues, customers, regulators and other professionals
