Job Title: Site Mechanical Fitter

Location: Rotherham

Shifts: Days regular

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000

Metalis are working with a well established material handling company who are currently looking to expand their site team by recruiting for a site mechanical fitter.

Job Duties:

• Conduct mechanical installation and maintenance projects on clients site, adhering to health & safety policies.
• Repair, test and make modifications to company equipment.
• Ensure that all electrical components are PAT tested and in good condition.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and service checks.
• Conduct all appropriate risk assessments and method statements as required.
• Ensure design issues are reported to senior management.

Job Specification:

• Apprentice trained in an engineering discipline or mechanically minded.
• Experience within a site based role would be an advantage.

Please note this role will involve site work which will include the use of a company vehicle which will need to be kept clean and tidy. There is also a requirements for some working away and weekend work, so the candidate will need to be flexible.
