CNC Operator/Wood machinist - Lates Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience. Machining timber and board materials to customer specifications. Reading and interpreting drawings, labels and production paperwork. Ensuring components are delivered accurately and on time to production departments. Carrying out quality inspections and identifying faults or defects. Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives within the machine shop. Supporting the wider production team and undertaking general duties as required. Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety procedures. Essential Skills & Experience: Previous experience operating CNC woodworking machinery. Knowledge of beam saws, edge banders and CNC software such as WoodWOP and B-Solid. Ability to read technical drawings and work accurately to specifications. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Able to work independently and as part of a team, using your initiative to solve problems. Good communication skills, a positive work ethic and a willingness to learn. Ability to work to production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. Role Overview As a Beam Saw Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process, ensuring materials are cut accurately and efficiently to meet project specifications.
