We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Engineer - Combustion with any combination of: - Two years experience working in a role as a heating engineer, a combustion engineer or equivalent - Must be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements - Must be familiar with and able to work to Gas safe (installation and use) regulations 1998 and associated industry Standards - Experience of working with commercial catering gas appliances would be beneficia - Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent - CCN1 - Core domestic gas safety and relevant domestic appliance units - COCN1 - Core commercial gas safety certificate and relevant commercial units - Good Health & Safety knowledge. - Excellent organisational, time management and people skills. The ideal candidate will be located either along the M4 corridor or in London. Our client services a diverse range of sectors, including offices, industrial units, health care, leisure, and education. The majority of work is concentrated in London and the South, with occasional travel required further North for holiday cover or additional support (not exceeding twice a month). Key Requirements: Own tools required. Live within 1 hour drive of Reading. However they have won contracts based in Wembley therefore flexibility around travel is essential. (Travel exceeding 1.5 hours will be compensated with hotel accommodations.) Carpentry/shop fitter background is preferred. Benefits: Uniform, company van and fuel card provided.
