Court of Protection Solicitor - Up to £55,000 - REF 425613TB

The Role

This is a superb opportunity to join an award-winning, modern, dynamic, and supportive law firm offering specialist quality legal advice to commercial clients and private individuals.

Based in Hertfordshire with a London presence, this firms helps individuals, families and businesses in Hertfordshire, London and across the UK.

The firm is recognised across the region for its outstanding client care and high-quality commercial and private client work.

Due to the development and expansion of the firm, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to work alongside existing partners, driving a resilient and varied legal practice.

The Court of Protection Solicitor will have a good understanding of deputyship and strong private client experience in drafting Wills and Lasting Power of attorney.

The canddiate will be liaising with case managers, doctors, therapists, care teams, surveyors, Independent Financial Advisors, architects and other specialists.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with limited supervision but with the benefit of full administrative support.

The Candidate

Court of Protection Solicitor with at least two years PQE or equivalent
Build up good working relationships over with local care homes and also with social services
Ability to work to deadlines/targets, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
A full accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE)
Court of Protection Accredited Legal Representative
Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
Excellent organisation and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts
Professional and effective communication with individual and business contacts
