Barker Munro recruitment has a superb opportunity within a friendly and well-established team for an Underwriting Assistant. Providing a variety of support and assistance to the wider underwriting team, you will be critical to the successful completion of all daily tasks.

As a keen team-player, you're used to mucking in and getting the job done; it's that ambitious and customer centric attitude that my client loves!

If you have superb customer service and communication skills with insurance or financial services experience and are keen to break into the underwriting world, this role could be ideal for you as training will be provided. They will happily train someone from Broking background that wants to move into Underwriting. You will be speaking to customers discussing referrals and learn to handle new business for a range of insurances including Property owners risks.

Working within a leading insurance organisation, you will be given the help to reach your full potential and grow your career with them and be given the opportunity to study towards CII/ Dip CII qualification.
