Hybrid - 2 days per week in either Horley/Portsmouth office depending on location

We have a brilliant opportunity to join a constantly growing UK utilities company based in the South of England and across Scotland. This role is based in either Horley, or Portsmouth, depending on your location. Due to an ongoing, 5 year long transformation of the company's IT security, they are looking to build a new cyber security team which is being funded by OFGEM, so the opportunity to progress and develop within this role is huge.

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all things security within the cloud estate with the main task at hand being a strong understanding of potential risks. This includes taking steps in order to prevent any security issues as well as providing strategy going forward, setting up solid security for the future.

We are looking for:

• Expertise in Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) in particular AWS and Azure
• Good understanding and practical experience of Cyber Security Frameworks and standards
• At least 1 - 2 years' cyber security experience
