What's the purpose of role:
As HR Onboarding Assistant you will sit within our HR function, reporting into the HR Compliance Team Leader and working closely to support the needs of the wider HR and Recruitment Teams. You will be expected to undertake data entry processes, ensuring all our new starters are uploaded to our payroll system.
Who you'll deal with:
Internal: Operations Managers, HR Team
What you'll be doing:
Complete initial upload of candidate data to Kronos, our payroll system, upon receiving induction attendance confirmation lists
Advise relevant managers of the assigned payroll details of candidates
Sense check all new starter paperwork ensuring details are accurate, including but not limited to pay rates, job title and candidate detailsā¢Ensuring new starter forms are legible, then sending across to payroll
Update Kronos to reflect the details in the new starter forms, ensuring accuracy
Liaise with managers across all our sites to chase paperwork that is incomplete or inaccurate
Prioritise and manage workloads effectively
Work to tight deadlines, to ensure new starters are paid on time
This list is not exhaustive; accountabilities may vary dependent on locality or role complexity and may include any other duties considered reasonable by the line manager.
What you'll have:
Previous onboarding experience, and be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and written, with experience of interacting with managers
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisation
Show the ability to think outside the box
Can do attitude, and be disciplined in your work
Be hands on, with the ability to high the ground running
Understand the importance of and demonstrate a professional attitude and approach
Have a willingness to learn our payroll system
