The ICS Health Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing a project focussed on developing joint working across the public sector and community and voluntary sector on community-based health and wellbeing activity and interventions, so will require strong project management and budgeting skills. With highly effective communication skills, the ICS Health Project Coordinator will represent the Council or the team at multi-agency and partnership meetings. A strong understanding of the capability, capacity and sustainability of community led action will be complimented by desire to explore different interventions which support and improve the lives of people in our places. The postholder will require an ability to organise and facilitate inter-agency steering groups, to facilitate coordination of activity, information sharing and sharing of best practice across partners.

The ICS Health Project Coordinator will coordinate multidisciplinary place teams, quickly developing trusted working relationships drawn from a wide range of public, private and health sectors, social care, and voluntary and community sector, utilising the strengths of the diverse range of those involved. Fostering a culture of innovation through working in collaboration, partners will represent themselves and each other with the best interests of communities in that place.
