Contract Administrator for world-leading design, engineering and project management consultancy, London.

Your new company
Working for a world-leading design, engineering and project management global consultancy based in London who are currently looking for a Contracts Administrator to join their Buying team.

Your new role
You will be supporting the Contracts Lead for the performance of contracts administration. Ensuring that all activities are performed in a timely manner in accordance with the Project Schedule and Contracting plan and liaise regularly with the Project team, providing regular reports and documents including general conditions of contract and specific contract documents.
You will be responsible for reviewing documents prepared by the buyer in accordance with the timing requirements of the contracting plan, review contract queries and will need to attend pre-award negotiations with short listed tenders managed by the buyer.
You will chair contract meetings with suppliers and record any minutes of meetings, instructions and agreements on contractual matters.
You will be responsible for erecting a filing system and ensure it is maintained in accordance with established Project procedures. You will review certification of progress payments as per Project procedures, obtain approvals, issue of contact variation orders, maintain records and update computerised data bank of contractor's progress and compliance with contractual requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a Contract or Procurement Administration role is preferred. You will have the ability to review complex contractual documents like service-level agreements and sale agreements. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, knowledge of customers and MS Office applications as well as proven analytical and organisational skills.
