Business Development Manager
Testing, Inspection and Certification is more than just dotting the I's and crossing the T's for worldwide compliance.
It's about making sure that the latest innovations in technology along with the ambitions of product designers and manufacturers meet the compliance requirements of the modern world, now and in the future.
Whether the products we test are destined for medical, scientific, defence, household or multimedia application or whether we are assisting in the early stages with training, development and planning, you'll be intrinsically linked to the global success of your product launch and its continued success in the market place.
Our BDM's are multifaceted in skill and application, from the initial self-generated and marketing-generated lead management, through technical evaluation and quoting into scheduling and liaising between ours labs and the customer. You'll need to be able to manage a diverse day to day workload involving Sales, Project Management, Key Account Management and Problem Solving/Solution Selling.
In addition, the ability to work at various paces, meeting immediate and short term goals for your customers and our laboratories, understanding the wider opportunities and offerings in our full portfolio of services, which will enable you to build proposals for mid- to long-term opportunities.
As the world's largest network of Test, Inspection and Certification laboratories and experts you will represent us at a variety of trade bodies and via key networking events and exhibitions in our sectors of expertise.
Ideally, you'll come from a relevant technical background or show, from your previous career, an aptitude to understand the technical aspects and the skill to simplify this for your customers.
We can teach you the nuances and knowledge of product standards, test procedures and compliance requirements for each product and project.
What you'll need to succeed is the ability and tenacity to respond quickly to enquiries. Commercially and technically qualify the requirements and create solutions that meets the needs of both the network of Eurofins laboratories and your multitude of customers.
