Job Title: Emotional Support Leader
Hours: 6 hours per week, flexible provision across three days
Location: Prestwich, M25
Reporting to: Service Delivery Lead
Key responsibility: Providing emotional support to staff working in a mental health charity
Pay: £20 an hour
Terms: One year self-employed contractor
Our client's Centre offers a person-centred holistic approach to supporting people experiencing poor emotional wellbeing and poor mental health. Being person-centred means they treat people with dignity and respect and help them to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to effectively manage their own mental wellbeing and mental health. This is done is a way that is coordinated and tailored to the needs of the individual. A holistic approach means thinking about the whole person, considering their emotional, occupational, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
They are looking for someone with relevant skills in mental health to provide emotional support to their staff.
They expect this to be 1-2-1 support delivered face-to-face or by telephone as agreed with the Service Delivery Lead.
They are open to flexible working and will negotiate an hourly rate.
