Your role with us

From Hinkley Point C to the Lower Thames Crossing, we provide specialist advice on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). Supporting our Area teams, you will review application documents and plans, and provide expert guidance on wildlife and conservation matters. Whether it's Habitats Regulations Assessments or Biodiversity Net Gain advice, your input will contribute to the development of sustainable growth. By building relationships of trust with a variety of stakeholders, you will be able to support and influence others in the protection and enhancement of the environment.

What do I need?

A passionate and authoritative advocate for conservation and ecology, you'll have proven technical experience matched by sound knowledge of relevant environmental regulations, legislation and frameworks. Experience of working on large planning applications and NSIPs would be useful. You will be:

A proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of influencing planning decisions to ensure that conservation and ecology is protected and enhanced for the future

An effective influencer able to work flexibly and respond to competing demands in a time-pressured environment

Experienced in delivering environmental improvements through others

Well-organised, computer literate and able to respond to tight deadlines
