Commercial Senior Underwriter

Eames are currently working in partnership with a Global Insurer, they are looking for a Commercial Senior Underwriter to join the team across classes of business such as Social Welfare, Care, Not for profit and charity policies to help build/maintain relationships and deliver exceptional service to their brokers.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle renewal cases working with the broker to up-sell & Cross sell additional covers.
• Promote and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of authority levels and company guidelines to help achieve profitability and underwriting objectives.
• Work within defined underwriting authority to underwrite renewals both large and complex cases.
• Help mentor team members to develop technical knowledge as a referral point.
• Be proactive and willing to help brokers across all classes of business.
