Take Part Coordinator
Hours: 18 - 24 hours per week as agreed, spread across three days
Location: Prestwich, M25
Reporting to: Service Delivery Lead
Responsible for: Take Part Volunteers
Pay: £14.43 an hour, (£13,506 per annum for 18 hours a week, £18,008 per annum for 24 hours a week)
Terms: 1-year fixed contract
Our client's Centre offers a person-centred holistic approach to supporting people experiencing poor emotional wellbeing and poor mental health. Being person-centred means they treat people with dignity and respect and help them to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to effectively manage their own mental wellbeing and mental health. This is done is a way that is coordinated and tailored to the needs of the individual. A holistic approach means thinking about the whole person, considering their emotional, occupational, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
They are looking for a Take Part Coordinator to deliver their Reaching Communities project funded by the Big Lottery.
Key responsibilities include developing and supporting a service user panel, recruiting, training and providing ongoing support to a team of Peer Mentors and volunteers, ensuring monitoring and evaluation data is collected as required by our funder and contributing to other services and activities delivered by the Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting people's emotional wellbeing and empowering people with lived experience to support others.
