Junior Specification Technologist

You have the chance to work for one of the world's leading manufacturers that make a wide range of products, supplying into multiple different channels. As their Junior Specifications Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting the Specifications Technologist who is responsible for all site customer specifications & labelling requirements.

My client are a market leading food manufacturer, that supply into a range of different channels. They are a specialist in their industry & have a multitude of different products.

Description

As the Junior Specifications Technologist you will be responsible for supporting with all of the site customer specifications & labelling requirements. As well as:

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with the review & sign off format & customer artwork, ensuring that new labels are set up & approved
• Support the completion of accurate customer format specifications (electronic or manual) in a timely manner & ensure signed copies are maintained & completed in accordance with COPs
• Support with the management of online customer portals
• Ensure factory specifications & labels for launches are prepared & issued
• Issue & control recipes, process & packaging specifications for use by manufacturing teams
• Actively involved in customer & 3rd party audits

Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00

Profile

You will ideally have some experience working in a Specifications role within a food manufacturing environment, as we all:

• Recognised qualification (E.g. Food Science)
• Ideally, online portal experience (Aldi, Morrisons, Iceland, Tesco, Asda etc.)
• Good computer skills - Excel, Word
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team & on your own
