5G Systems Engineer/Product EngineerWe are looking for a 5G Product Engineer to be involved in the research of 3GPP standards, developing prototype code/algorithms and then working with Software Engineers on implementation. Overall responsibility spans taking business requirements, turning them into technical requirements and seeing them through to implementation.The 5G Product engineer role will see you become an expert and authority in 5G products and be available to assist the different technical functions within the company as required. As such, the position has exposure to many different aspects of the business and is a natural route to Product Management.We are looking for someone who has the relevant mobile communication technical skills (maybe a research background, PhD, MSc) and good communication skills. 5G Product Engineer essential skills
- Degree in Communications; Masters or PhD degrees preferred
- Understanding of activities such as radio planning and optimisation, backhaul planning and capacity planning
- Understanding of global telecommunications trends and technologies
- Ability to effectively convey technical know-how to customers
