Job Title: Intermediate MEP Cost Manager

Project: Hyperscale Data Centres

Salary: £40,000 - £70,000

The company

Looking to get involved in the Data Centre sector? This growing Construction Consultancy is actively seeking an intermediate Cost Manager to work on Hyperscale Data Centre projects throughout the UK and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from outside the sector to work on high value projects within a stable and rapidly expanding sector. You do not need Data Centre experience and this firm are happy to look at candidates from a Consultancy or Contractor background.

The role

• Prepare cost Estimates/Cost Plans for review including benchmarking
• Develop a variety of Value Engineering/Life Cycle Costing options
• Contribute to meetings on the Pre-contract Process
• Contribute and assist in the preparation of the Procurement Strategy/ Report
• Attend Client meetings along with senior colleagues as required and record relevant discussion points and actions
• Review existing cost and commercial management processes to contribute to the improvement of processes and systems

Could this role be for you?

• 2 years of Cost Management/Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong MEP Knowledge and real-world experience
• Experience on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
• Educated to HNC or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Excellent communication skills (client facing)
