SQL Developer office based in PrestonSalary up to 45k
My client is looking for an enthusiastic SQL Developer, to join thriving IT department. This is a technical, hands-on job in a fast-pace, dynamic, environment and will be at the forefront of helping the organisation deliver its future digital ecosystem.
Our ideal candidate will have SQL Development skills but either has or wants to learn and be involved with either DBA, C#, or Power BI skills and willing to learn what they don ' t know. We ' re seeking an all-rounder.
You must possess an analytic approach to work, along with a resourcefulness in problem solving. You should be able to design and produce solutions to requirements quickly, while communicating progress. You should also have the patience to work with various interdisciplinary teams, users, and system owners whose technical experience may not be on par with your own.
Duties and Responsibilities
Development of high-quality database solutions
Develop, implement, and optimise stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
Review and interpret ongoing business requirements
Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements
Suggest new queries
Provide timely scheduled management reporting
Investigate exceptions as part of BAU
Requirements
Solid experience as a SQL Developer
Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
Good knowledge of DBA, C#, or Power BI skills
