IT Infrastructure Engineer, Remote, £45k
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic experienced IT Infrastructure and Services Engineer to join a rapidly growing organisation who provide exceptional care and support so vulnerable people can live their best lives.
Responsibilities:
To be an experienced IT Systems Administrator who will operate as a member of the final escalation team. You will be required to provide in-depth technical development and systems maintenance as well as have the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in supporting 450 sites
Skills:
Extensive experience of Active Directory and supporting systems, including user and machine management, Group Policies, DNS and DHCP
Microsoft Azure (Azure AD, VM, Storage, VNets, Backup, Enterprise App registration and configuration
Microsoft 365 (Exchange online, Sharepoint Online, One Drive, Teams)
Use of System Centre Configuration Manager, Intune and Autopilot
Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS) management and maintenance
Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
Experience of SQL Systems, stand alone, clusters, on-premises and in Azure
Configuring and troubleshooting Windows Certificate Services
Configuring Azure Conditional Access
Excellent understanding and capability to deploy Microsoft 365 Compliance, Governance and Protection features
Install, configure and maintain Windows Server
Knowledge and experience of Scripting technologies including Powershell
Experience in the operation of backup and recovery functions using Azure Backup and Veeam
Microsoft Clustering, implementation and management
Team Player and willing to learn
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work and deliver under pressure with tight deadlines
Desirable/Good to have:
MS Direct Access/Always on VPN
Configuring Network Load Balancers
Configuring Azure Application Proxy for on-premise applications
Network technologies: subnetting, Vlans, ACLs
Hours = 37.5hr (Monday - Friday)(shift coverage between 7am and 7pm)
