About Us
We are a busy, supportive small animal practice with an interesting, varied caseload. Our equipment enables high general practice standard and includes cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray (digital), full surgical kit and extensive lab equipment. Our location on SW London/Surrey borders allows easy access to central London by train in 25 mins and is close to Richmond Park, Wimbledon common and the A3 so plenty on the doorstep to enjoy outside work.
Team and Culture
Our team is caring, open and supportive whilst upholding high standards of general practice. We have 6 vets, 8 nurses and many receptionists, (nurses do not cover reception duties). We are primarily looking for an enthusiastic, friendly Registered Veterinary Nurse who is a good fit for our current lovely team! Any special interests are happily supported.
Lizzie, our RVN who is moving back home to Australia, kindly shared a few words on why New Malden Vets is the place for you:
"My experience working at New Malden Vets has been absolutely fantastic. I started here just over a year ago, and from the first day I felt very welcomed by the team who showed me how things were run and made me feel a part of the group very quickly. I'm very sad to have to leave my role here so soon, but my situation has meant that I'm returning to Australia. Were it not the time for me to move back to my home country, I would have liked to have worked here for many more years as a part of this truly lovely group of people. Everyone is so approachable and caring, and the atmosphere of the team is always of kindness and respect towards each other. The wonderful team here are always keen to help out and look after each other, and that has been a particular takeaway for me."
Applicant Requirements
Ideally, we are looking for a qualified RVN but we would also consider a student nurse in the last year of qualification. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, positive, and organised. A supportive team player with a high standard of patient care, you will also have a client focused approach.
