Brake Press Setter

Outline:

Responsible for the operational performance of the Brake Press Machines and ensuring that the machines are kept in good working order and all PMS in the department are completed to a high level and documented. and documented.

The Job Role:

• Will be working on Bystronic Brake Presses Upto 150t, 3metres flat bed
• Able to set the brake presses, change tooling, adjust x&y axis so the parts are correct to drawings
• Ensuring that good levels of 5S are maintained on all machines, areas, and tooling
• Must be able to read engineering drawings
• Involvement in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
• The company specialises in bespoke sheet metal work
• No mass batch work, making the role varied and each day different
• Work to Health and Safety within the Brake Press Area
• Some CNC Milling would also be required, experience not necessary

Experience/ Requirements:

• Experience of Setting and Operating Brake Presses (Bystronic would be advantageous but not essential)
