03132 Theft & Fire Claims Handler - Motor Tonbridge £20,000 - £23,448 pa Reports to: Motor Claims Team LeaderOur client, Tonbridge

WE WANT YOU TO BE:An experienced first party claims handler with a keen eye for detail and a flair for investigation skills. The key purpose of this role is to deal with fire and theft claims as efficiently as possible, utilising your knowledge to ensure correct indemnity decisions are made. You will be confident in dealing with customers at the telephone and conducting interviews this way in order to establish the bona fides of the claims presented.WE'LL NEED YOU TO BE ABLE TO:

Process fire and theft claims in line with existing claims philosophyEnsure that DPA, TCF and any other regulatory requirements are adhered toLiaise with internal support team and external suppliers to ensure delivery of excellent customer serviceAnswer inbound calls from customers and representatives in a professional manner, answering queries, complaints and providing updates on claimsBe able to identify potential third party claims exposure in theft claims, specifically where stolen vehicles may be recovered damagedIdentity suspicious claims and flag them to the Fraud Investigation TeamEnsure that complaints are recorded on the complaints system in an accurate and timely manner Provide support to the Team Manager by ensuring delivery of own performance against agreed objectives, KPIs and SLAsPlan and execute strategic initiatives to agreed timelinesEnsure a relevant level of technical understanding with continuous development and learning.To undertake any individual or team task or activity reasonably requested and in line with the company values

Experience / knowledge Minimum 12 months experience as a Motor Claims Handler

Qualifications Secondary education or equivalent with demonstrable ability in numeracy skills and written English
