Joining the AA as a Lead Digital Acquisition Analyst, you will work closely with the Digital Analytics Manager and manage a small team of App Analysts to provide data, reporting and analysis which illustrates a full picture of the performance across Digital Acquisition journey i.e., assets, channels and marketing activity.

You will build queries and automate interesting data sets, and analyse data to drive the optimisation of journeys, along with supporting the tagging and development of the website and AA app. By doing so, you will help provide greater insight and analysis for the performance of journeys that impact customers as they purchase a product such as UK Breakdown or Insurance etc.

This is a great opportunity for someone to come in and lead on our efforts with the development of digital analytics acquisition areas of the AA. As well as have access to skilled individuals across Tagging & Implementation, Web & App Developers, Product Owners and Business Analysts.

• Provide leadership across Digital Analytics Acquisition journeys by providing accurate data, reporting and dashboards to key stakeholders using the available technology stack
• Deliver support for BAU reporting across the Digital Service and App team - not just by simply delivering data, but also providing insights and suggestions for improvement and optimisation
• Committed to staying up to date with industry developments, best practices, consumer experience research and new technologies with a view of proposing and delivering these opportunities to key stakeholders at all levels including Senior Leaders, Executives and Directors
• Line manage Analyst resources providing mentoring and coaching including more Junior resources
• Drive the data management for Google Big Query and other data initiatives that require digital input
• Support the migration and establishment of Reporting for App across move to GA4 and latest company reporting environments and standards

Essential:

• Demonstrable hands-on background in Digital Data & Analytics with ability to produce high-quality accurate analysis
• Strong building/adjusting SQL skills with good knowledge/understanding of Google BigQuery
• Knowledge of digital across web & app (best practice design and technical understanding an advantage)
• Experience using Google Analytics, Google Firebase and Google Data Studio
• Experience working with stakeholders with both technical and non-technical colleagues, in particular Senior Leaders, Executives and Directors
• Strong people skills, ability to inspire and willing to share expertise with other team members

Desirable:

• Experience of tag management process and tracking using tools such as Tealium or GTM
