Senior Software Developer Remote / Hybrid work can be considered Office location: Leatherhead, Surrey £55-65k + bonus + benefits This is an opportunity for an ambitious, experienced Senior Software Developer to join a small, rapidly growing company delivering exciting projects at the forefront of the UK s net zero energy transition. The role will involve the provision of software development expertise applied to the fields of solar energy generation, electric vehicle charging and battery energy storage systems. It is envisaged that this position would grow to become a department head role. Required: Senior Software Developer Significant demonstrable experience of software development, systems development, and architecture. (Front and back-end systems, IoT, data capture, remote access / monitoring, etc) Able to demonstrate continued self-development and the use of modern software development tools, systems, and techniques Proficient with a broad variety of software languages and tools (e.g., .NET, C#, JSON, XML, SQL, MQTT, etc) Also expereinced with AWS, Python, Docker and similar Experience if integrating systems to 3rd party software (e.g., JIRA, Salesforce) Strong organisation, planning and communications skills Ability and desire to build and develop a software development team This role will involve the development, specification, architecture, and implementation of software systems for the customer front end, product, back end, data interfaces/ IoT systems, business management tools, and monitoring and remote management systems. Skills / Experience Required: Senior Software Developer A recognised and relevant software engineering qualification (e.g., Degree in computer science, software engineering) Significant demonstrable experience of software development, systems development, and architecture.
