Wood Machinist

We are looking for a Wood Machinist to join our client based in Sheffield.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and 8am to 2pm on Fridays.

Pay: £10.49

Contract: Temp to perm You will be required to read, follow and understand detailed production drawings/plans to exact specifications while working to minimal tolerances. You will be responsible for the manufacture of joinery components using various timber-based materials including hardwood/softwood, veneered & laminate panels.

We are looking for someone with the skills and the ability to problem-solve when faced with challenges.Previous experience of operating the following woodworking machines would be ideal: Dimension Saw Drum Sander Planer & Thicknesser Spindle Moulder Cross-Cut Saw 4-Sided Planner / Moulder Mortiser Machine Tenon Machine Band Saw
