Process Engineer Full time Monday to Friday Imerys Aluminates Limited - West Thurrock, Essex Salary £40,000 to £45,000 per annum Excellent benefits package including productivity bonus Joining our plant management team at our calcium aluminate cement processing plant, your focus will be on assisting in the development of manufacturing processes and activities and applying your Continuous Process knowledge to understand and resolve process issues. What you ll be doing Reporting to the Process Improvement Manager, to ensure that the installations on site are operated at the best performance levels possible, you ll be: carrying out day to day process improvements including monitoring, evaluating and acting upon defined parameters for kiln, mills and raw materials analysing data and implementing new processes and workflows collaborating with multiple departments Process, Quality and output issues undertaking process installations and commissioning of new plant doing equipment inspections including working in confined spaces and at height assessing and ensuring compliance and adherence to safety and quality standards identifying and proposes solutions for recurrent maintenance failures providing weekly and monthly reporting Maintaining the health, safety and environmental standards on site, for yourself and others around you Your skills and experience Industrial process experience, ideally Continuous Process, is essential for this role and due to the niche nature of our calcium aluminate cement processes, we provide extensive and specific process training. In addition, we are looking for: an engineering degree or HND/HNC (continuous process focus) your knowledge of Heat and Mass balance evidence of your problem-solving ability experience in using industrial data software e.g. Historian ability to work at height and in confined spaces strong Excel and other MS Office/Google suite applications What s in it for you?
