As LCOE Project Manager Floating Offshore Wind you assume responsibility to increase the competitiveness and value of our future renewable generation assets. In close collaboration with our operational units (e.g. Offshore / Onshore Wind Development), our global Engineering team and Commercial/ Financial functions you will lead the systematic optimisation of our newly build projects.

Your future plans

Lead the LCOE optimisation efforts for selected RWE RES newly build projects, with a focus on floating offshore wind:
Setting up a systematic optimisation approach in alignment with the project leadership, incl. target ambition, baseline and LCOE workshops with internal and external stakeholders
Managing the LCOE improvement efforts of the project team incl. idea generation, validation and implementation planning in close collaboration with the responsible functions of the project team
Tracking of project specific and generic LCOE optimisation measures to ensure that projects are properly optimised in close cooperation with the relevant experts
Ensure a prominent and transparent communication of the LCOE initiatives with the senior project management team and various stakeholders in the organisation, particularly with the departments Floating Development Offshore and Floating Industrialisation
Assume responsibility for the development and continuous improvement of our LCOE tools, databases and methodologies used for project optimisation and thus support the efficient optimisation of our projects in the offshore pipeline
Analyse competitor activities and current position regarding LCOE optimisation with the aim to improve our competitive insights and the LCOE optimisation approach
Promote LCOE-driven company culture, incl. regular reporting of project successes and LCOE optimisation program awareness

Your profile

Successfully completed university degree in engineering, natural science, naval architecture/marine engineering or economics
Relevant professional experience in project management, foundation design - ideally within floating technology, the (wind) energy business and/or from a consulting background with focus on renewable energy
Technical or commercial expertise in the field of renewable energies (e.g., offshore, onshore wind, naval architecture/marine engineering) and knowledge of the common project development phases for an off- or onshore wind project
Proven track record in project management, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to prioritise and work independently
Excellent analytical capabilities and an ability to understand the economic aspects of topics from a broad spectrum of technical disciplines
Proven experience in understanding a broad range of complex and interdisciplinary topics and explain them in a variety of stakeholder contexts
Strong team player, flexible, self-organised, enthusiastic, focused on stakeholder needs and capable to strive within a dynamic international environment
(Business) fluent in English, further languages are an advantage
